marcus said on 31st May ... "nicely tucked away in the heart of a bustling city, a place to chill out in! close to transport links.
soft furnishings to relax and sup a drink of your liking,
built in cafe area, for the occasional snack,
fully stocked bar and with a balcony,
all kinds of music in a hall in the back,
A stairlift built in, for those less able to climb, a musicial evening drums bass and guitars, most nights and the occasional star."

Dorian G said on 11th May ... "Lovely place - eclectic, unpretentious, with a warm atmosphere. I saw a cabaret show in the back bar which was quite brilliant, with hints of Weimar. "

Kieran O'Sulllivan said on 29th April ... "Great venue with a really mixed clientele. Love the area too. See some up and coming local bands - and some from further afield - just a stones throw (well almost)from where Joe Strummer started out in the Elgin Arms."

Shleby said on 06th January ... "I must say I discovered the Inn by accident. I walked past it everyday but never noticed it until I friend recommended it. Well done girl is all I can say.....
The ambience felt nice. It is one of those rare, small but spacious well designed, quirkly but refined bar and cafe type joint. Sectioned with a lot going on. From cafe, to stage, to bar to lounging area.. Oh and there was a couple of pool tables in the corner as well. Amazingly they have a no smoking policy, but a heated balcony area for those with guilty pleasures and those with a beady eye for potential candy leaving the gym below...
They are also family friendly, which is handy if you cannot get a babysitter. It felt authentically local as most people in their recognised another as they all flittered in and out.
I could go on but I am sure you catch the drift. One last thing I will say though is that the prices are reasonable. I managed to get 4 glasses of wine, two lagers and two bags of nuts for under £15"

Diana Stone said on 04th May ... "I am not a local but was quite supprised by this place,as its sort of hidden away under the westway. I went to see some local singer songwriters play. It was a nice evening but the venue was rather empty, and I did get the feeling that didn't really want people coming in to the place. Strange ! "

Roifield MyVillage said on 01st April ... "Probably the best new venue in Notting Hill for years. Something different from the now normal over designed style bar fodder, that is spreading over the country quicker than bird flu.
Friendly staff, decent prices and good gigs!"

Joel said on 30th March ... "Love the Inn. Love it love it love it.
DON'T COME HERE EVERYBODY - PLEASE!.
The way a 'Bello local should be: really varied events (no jackhammer House nights), mad mix of people, uber-friendly, top nosh from Auntie Shonagh, 'art' on the walls, Wi-Fi, fantastic balcony for people-watching, great coffee, lovely staff, the papers on the tables, no cokey mouth merchants. Need I go on?
Dave and Tina should be applauded for what they're doing here - true locals.
I wanted a bigger flat, but now there's the Inn I needn't think about moving. I don't need an office either! Leave attitudes at home for this one folks.
A diamond. "

Keith Lawton said on 20th March ... "This is now as much cabaret and comedy venue as bar but you can hire it for parties (catered if you want by the fabulous Shonagh) and it now has a dancefloor and proper DJ booth instead of raged pool tables out the back.
Thursday's Performance Club nights are a good one to check out with recent nights featuring national stars like Stewart Lee and Malcolm Hardy as well as some inspired stars of the future which Tony Allen seems to have collected from all over London but with a distinct Portobello focus.
Also the best pint of Staropramen in the Grove and great coffee for those in recovery..."

Toby Lawrence said on 02nd March ... "" Under new management and a new name since the Summer (2005), Inn On the Green is run by Dave and Tina two locals who previously ran the Westway sports bar, Latimer Road , and know the area and the community very well.
Check the place any night - it's a best-kept-secret hang out and art centre for locals with, gigs - Portobello Film Fest team meet and show frequently, indie bands play on Friday nights; exhibitions - several of the regulars (including one of the bar staff) have already filled the walls with their creative output; plus meetings, rehearsals and parties; Thursday night is cabaret from the Performance club, all this and the beer's modestly priced and there's home made food from Shona - sweet potato and chili sauce, spinach and pumpkin curry, need I say more. ""Inn on the green is a fantastic bar ,really inexpensive drinks ...loads of space and a fantastic restaraunt -try Shonas Sunday Roast mmmm Just like your Mothers home cooking .All the bar staff are really friendly and the vibe is great.Lots of events are going on there now- and its got a great community feel, somewhere you can come alone, or come with your family.
Tina and Dave are doing a brilliant job of turning the place into something Special. If you have not yet been there ,I suggest you get yourself down there and check it out "pronto" you will not be disappointed i can assure you.""
